Appearance: 5'7" and about 140lbs. He has fine silver-white hair growing to just shoulder-length. His fringe always hangs down over his right eye, partially or completely obscuring it yet he doesn't seem to have any difficulty seeing well. His green cat-like eyes have pupils which frequently assume a slit shape. His pale skin seems to have a slight glow and almost no body hair due to alien genetics. Built with lean muscles, his body is extremely strong. He is deceptively tough, more powerful than the norm. Genetic enhancing from an alien source sets him apart in abilities and strength. He is predominantly left-handed but doesn't have any problem switching hands or using both to wield two weapons at once. ![]() He wears black leather from fingertips to toes, from gloves right down to his boots. His long coat is split up the front and back the length of his legs, giving them great freedom of movement. Kadaj has belted the loose flaps around his trouser legs just above his knees. He wears his coat zipped up to the hollow of his throat. Two pauldrons protect his shoulders as well as making him appear broader than he is. Two leather straps criss-cross over his chest and back. These support the double-bladed sword/scabbard hanging by a leather strap on Kadaj's back. | Appearance: 5'11" and weighs about 160lbs. His hair is very long, growing down to his lower back. His fringe is shorter so both of his eyes are always visible. He has green cat-like eyes with pupils that often assume a slit shape, pale skin that seems to glow subtly and almost no body hair because of alien genetics. His leanly-muscled body is very strong and deceptively tough, more powerful than a normal man is. His genetic inheritence from an alien source sets him apart, making him superior in abilities and strength. Predominantly left-handed, Yazoo doesn't have any problem switching hands or using both to wield two weapons at once. He wears black leather from fingertips to toes, from gloves right down to his boots. His long coat is split up the front and back the length of his legs, giving them great freedom of movement. He wears his coat zipped all the way up to beneath his proud chin. Two pauldrons protect his shoulders as well as making him appear broader than he is. Two leather straps criss-cross over his chest and back. These support the gunblade, Velvet Nightmare, and its holster suspended by a leather strap from his back. ![]() | Appearance: 6'1" and about 200lbs. He has short silver-white hair that stands up from his head and isn't as fine as that of his brothers. His green cat-like eyes have pupils which frequently assume a slit shape. Loz's pale skin seems to have a slight glow. He has more body hair than Kadaj and Yazoo; he sports well-trimmed sideburns on his face. But the rest of his body is hairless by general male standards. Built to be more muscular, his body is even stronger than the other two silver-haired men are. He is much more powerful than normal because of the alien genetic enhancements setting him apart in abilities and strength. He is predominantly left-handed and isn't quite as adept at switching hands or using both to wield two weapons at once. ![]() He wears black leather from fingertips to toes, from gloves right down to his boots. Loz doesn't wear a long coat. He wears his short jacket zipped up to his sternum. Two pauldrons protect his shoulders as well as making him appear broader than he is. Two leather straps criss-cross over his chest and back. He has a weapon called Duel Hound on his left wrist. His gunblade is holstered at his lefthand side. |
Personality: Kadaj is one of the three manifestations of Sephiroth's will. Originally he gained much of Sephiroth's rage and hatred, which made him cruel, ruthless and seemingly insane. He also inherited leadership qualities and great intelligence so it didn't matter he was the youngest; he ruled the gang. After he died, Kadaj became generally calm while existing in the Lifestream, where he analysed all aspects of his brief, unusual life. This calmness has pushed out most of his blatant violence. He's severed his connection with Sephiroth to the degree he now makes his own decisions. He can be childish, especially when it comes to sexuality. He doesn't like to be touched, with the exception of Yazoo. | Personality: Yazoo is also a manifestation of Sephiroth's will. He has Sepiroth's charm and beguilement. Yazoo displays a cunning intelligence which lets him work out how to use others for his own aims, if he's not feeling lazy. He's the one who knows some consider him attractive. Those who don't still usually favour having their egos stroked and would most likely favour him after that. He hasn't changed much at all due to his own time in the Lifestream except to be even less fearless than he was before. After all, if he dies and still exists, what's there to be afraid of? Yazoo has no problem with being touched. He'll say something sarcastic if he doesn't like it or he'll smoothly pull away with none of Kadaj's jerking away and glaring. | Personality: Though created chronologically to be the eldest of the trio, Loz is the most childlike and least alien of the Sephiroth remnants. He lacks the original fury and hatred bestowed on Kadaj and doesn't possess much cunning like Yazoo. Not that Loz is stupid but he doesn't think in a convoluted manner. What he inherited was Sephiroth's strength made even more powerful through the way his hybrid body had been constructed. Loz's time in the Lifestream resulted in his taking on a bit of intelligence but he still won't be known for being a genius. Loz doesn't actually think about sex most of the time. He has a childish faith his brothers won't shun him. |
Habits/Quirks: Kadaj's manner of speech can switch between talking quickly, then slowly, and possibly starting to laugh without an obvious reason to be amused. His movements seem efficient, minimalist but can be punctuated with sudden motions like waving his arm to gain attention or turning on you quicker than most people can imagine. He is gracefully athletic like a cat. | Habits/Quirks: Yazoo has a less variable rhythm to his speaking than Kadaj does. He shares the characteristic of sometimes laughing out loud when observers don't see what's so funny. And he doesn't care if they're in the dark about his reasons or lack of reasons. Indeed he frequently wears a look of disinterest on his face. He is enhanced purest feline, very balanced and graceful. | Habits/Quirks: Loz stays silent or he speaks very directly. He has an even-toned way of expressing himself. Instead of laughing easily, he is known to cry at times and Yazoo will tease him about this. Loz hasn't gotten angry about the teasing. He just teases back most of the time or he stays sullen for a while. Loz has smooth movements but he isn't all that feline-like. Not that he's a noisy and clumsy stalker but his brothers have the cat-like subtlety. |
Powers/Strengths: Kadaj is an excellent fighter with his double-bladed sword called 'Souba', able to handle the heavy weapon with seemingly no effort at all. One blade is a normal katana and the other is a shadow blade. He can wave the sword to distract someone and disappear for a second or two, to reappear beside the unsuspecting foe and kill them. Kadaj is a summoner, able to conjure shadowcreepers and a dragonlike creature called Bahamut Sin. He can hurl fireballs from the Materia embedded in his body and sometimes the energy glows around him. Kadaj is very agile and he can successfully fight several opponents at once. A normal being would have to be incredibly lucky to beat him. His ability to leap impossibly high and fall from a great height without being hurt is an advantage. | Powers/strengths: An excellent fighter who would be good with a sword but Yazoo's weapon of choice is a gunblade. He can aim well enough to shoot sunglasses off Cloud Strife's face or to create a seemingly random ricochet with bullets which ends up killing someone. Yazoo also has embedded Materia in his body. He can throw fireballs and he had a little practise summoning shadowcreepers. But he has to remove the Materia as it sometimes makes him feel confused, a symptom of Mako poisoning. He can also leap amazingly high and land again lightly on his booted feet. His physical strength matches that of Kadaj. Yazoo can schmooze if he decides to stop being indolent. He knows sometimes dealing with people and seeming to be nice works out better than fighting. If the schmoozing or the fight leads to a cat's beloved game of stalking, then he enjoys it totally. | Powers/strengths: Though he also fights with a Velvet Nightmare gunblade like Yazoo, Loz's weapon of choice is the Dual Hound. He wears this on his left arm. It's a pile bunker that can serve as a stun gun but it can also shatter stone, or form a great cascading wave of earth when slammed into the ground. This weapon amplifies his already considerable strength. Loz can leap at least as high as his brothers, likewise he can jump off skyscrapers and land lightly on his feet. Where he excels over Yazoo and Kadaj is his great speed. He almost seems to 'warp' over short distances, which makes the opponent lose sight of him and he is suddenly right next to them, having them at his mercy. He is also physically the strongest of the three. |
Weaknesses: His singlemindedness, which can blind Kadaj to the possibilities around him and result in poor judgement or the wrong action/reaction. Add to this his sometimes strength of being fearless (in this case a weakness) and he can get into even more trouble. His antisocial attitude. Kadaj doesn't know how to approach people in a socially friendly way. If they can't give him what he wants, he sees no real need to be around them. | Weaknesses: Yazoo's arrogant self-love can get in the way of his seeing the greater picture sometimes. He simply assumes he's better-looking, knows more, has more talent, so why bother to pay attention when you'd rather be laying back and relaxing? He can be quite lazy as if he's a cat stretched out in the sun. His brothers can motivate him but anyone else watch out; he might decide you're a mouse. | Weaknesses: Loz's near inability to tolerate having Materia embedded in his body, due to his being the least alien of the silver-haired trio. He'll use it if he has to, suppressing the effects through sheer brute force but he takes the longest to recover. His willingness to follow along like a child rather than be decisive. Having gained Sephiroth's emotionality over Jenova, Loz still can be more easily swayed than the other two. He's improved though he still has to think about it for a second. |
History: When Sephiroth refused assimilation into the Lifestream, he split into three remnants: Kadaj, Yazoo and Loz. Controlling the long-dead creature known as Jenova because he was a living form of the alien mixed with human genes, Sephiroth imbued the remnants (or shinentai) with his desire to reunite all Jenova cells and destroy the planet. But Kadaj didn't know this; he was looking for 'Mother', aka Jenova. He thought she favoured Sephiroth rather than understanding that she was Sephiroth. Yazoo and Loz shared this belief without questioning it. As long as Kadaj led them so fervently, they had no reason to think there was any alternate path. After the three are formed they initially seek Mother at the Northern Crater where her ship had crashed some 2000 years before. But Rufus Shinra's Turks are there and one of them (Reno) gets away with the alien's head (packaged in a preserving container) via helicoptor. Kadaj meets with Rufus Shinra to try and find Mother. He uses the power of Materia to summon Bahamut Sin to terrorise and destroy the city of Edge. However, Cloud Strife manages to destroy Bahamut with some help from his friends. ![]() This is when Rufus Shinra reveals he has what remains of Jenova. Kadaj manages to get Mother and he roars off on his motorbike, to be followed by Cloud. They are in a fight to the death in the ruins of tall buildings. During the fight, Kadaj figures out he needs to absorb the Jenova remains. After, Sephiroth reappears where Kadaj had been, to challenge Cloud again. Despite his taunting Cloud, and him turning the skies black with an ominous stormfront, Sephiroth is defeated after a ferocious battle. He assumes the form of a one-winged angel, declaring he will never be a memory, before dissolving into what seems like smokey black feathers, leaving behind a mortally wounded Kadaj. Cradled by his 'brother' Cloud, the youngest Sephiroth remnant dies. Kadaj thinks he hears Mother call him from the Lifestream. He raises his hand and dissolves back into the Lifestream, where he learns it was Aerith Gainsborough who had called to him. He doesn't know how long he's there but he does find out Mother's not there as well as getting a different story on everything that happened. Kadaj also finds his brothers, who died not long after he did. In the Lifestream, Kadaj and Yazoo begin to play around with possibilities, recreating places they had been to so they could examine certain situations, wanting to understand they could have different ideas than Sephiroth/Jenova. Both of them are matched in their intelligence if not their emotional ages. Here Kadaj abandons most of the angry, vengeful part from Sephiroth while Yazoo doesn't change all that much from his brief physical existence. Meanwhile, Loz learns to accept the fact that Jenova wasn't actually their mother, and he lets the disembodied memories of intelligent people flow through him to see what it feels like. Then they're taken into a new life, whether or not they want it. ------------------------- Played By: Name: Sigi Contact information: midnightheart@att.net More Information: http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Kada http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Yazo http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Loz http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Remn [Neither Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children nor any of the characters belong to me.
